Grinding Gear Games is keeping the biggest changes in Content Update 0.2.0 under wraps for now, but they have dropped some new teasers to keep the hype going. Here is a quick look at what is coming next in Path of Exile 2.
A New Ascendancy Class
Content Update 0.2.0 will introduce new Ascendancy Classes, and GGG has revealed artwork for one of them (see header image above). The teaser hints at a battle-hardened warrior shaped by countless wars, a specialist in tactical combat and leadership.
New Unique Items: Prism Guardian & The Deepest Tower
Two new Unique items are also set to arrive in Update 0.2.0, which will bring new build possibilities:
- Prism Guardian – A powerful shield with increased armour, and resistances.
- The Deepest Tower Crown – An enigmatic helmet making your enemies count as being on Low Life.
Atlas Passive Skill Tree Improvements
Path of Exile 2’s Endgame is also getting some upgrades, including improvements and new choices for the Atlas Passive Skill Tree. While details are still minimal, these changes could give us much more control over our endgame experience.
